Gerry has 30 years experience in the flooring industry. His knowledge of this industry and installation procedures and practices allows him to expertly measure and evaluate your flooring needs and provide you with the installation solutions you require to get your job done correctly. Gerry works very closely with our Installation Team keeping up with training and offering advice and solutions wherever necessary. Gerry is a priceless member of our Nufloors Family. In his spare time he participates in Iron Man competitions, swimming, biking, running and the famous “Grouse Grind” Gerry’s motto: “Live life like someone left the gate open”

What do you do at Nufloors?

I work in the Estimation/Sales/Management departments for Multi-Family – Commercial projects.

What do you do in your spare time?

Whenever possible, you can find me on the golf course – huge fan of golf.

Are you from the Lower Mainland?

I was born in Ontario but grew up in North Delta.  I now live in Langley and really enjoy this community.

John is Nufloors Langley’s resident Insurance expert; busying himself with commercial work as well. He has been in the flooring industry for over 25 years, starting off as an installer in 1989. As a former installer for Nufloors, John brings a unique perspective to the job sites, working with the builders and homeowners to stay on budget and accomplish the project on time. When not hard at work you can find John poolside with his family in Chilliwack.

Jonathan has over 10 years’ experience in the floor covering industry. As Nufloors Langley’s Warehouse Manager, he ensures an organized and accurate inventory as well as material deliveries to retail and project divisions. In Jonathan’s spare time he enjoys taking on handy projects and getting out on the lake.

Madlen has an extensive background in all areas of B2B sales, marketing, customer service, administration and accounting. She takes an entrepreneurial approach to work and life, which allows her continuous growth in the flooring industry. Work /Life balance is very important to Madlen so in her spare time she enjoys spending time with family and friends over a nice meal, or bottle of wine. Madlen also enjoys tennis, kick boxing and Pilates. “Live/Love/Laugh” has been her mantra since the 70’s.

Mike has over 20 years experience working in and managing our warehouse and installation operations. Mike’s high level of commitment to our customers ensures your installation is scheduled accordingly and is completed on time as planned. In Mike’s spare time he enjoys riding his Honda Gold Wing down the Oregon Coast and spending time with his wife and family.

Now the owner of Nufloors Langley, Nick was previously the General Manager, but started both figuratively and literally at the ground level as an installer in 1993. He has filled almost every role in between as well, providing the highest level of customer service to our clients. Nick knows the ins and outs of every job from start to finish. Nick resides in Langley with his wife and co-owner Tina. In Nick’s spare time you will find him at Cultus Lake in his travel trailer spending time with his family and friends.

What do you do at Nufloors?

My work includes servicing customers by showing them flooring products and assisting them in making a selection that will be suitable for their project. My service also includes taking on site measurements & moisture tests for laminate and hardwood products. On numerous occasions I order specific samples of material from suppliers and usually deliver them to the customer so I can assist them in making their final selection and complete an order with them.

What do you do in your spare time?

In my spare time I do a lot of walking on the track at the sports field of a local school. I also enjoy team sports including hockey, baseball and football all of which I played during my younger years but now am a spectator at the local venues or watching them on TV.

Are your from the Lower Mainland?

I was born and raised on a farm in Saskatchewan and attended the U of S, graduating with a Bachelors Degree in Engineering. After graduation I worked as a ‘Territory Manager’ for John Deere servicing dealers in the prairie provinces, then with Cominco Ltd. in the prairies ending up in the ‘Market Research’ department at the head office in Montreal. Shortly after Cominco moved their head office to Vancouver, I made the move into the Floor Covering Industry and have continued in this industry until the present time, working at Nufloors Langley.

Paul has over 30 years experience in retail sales. His extensive customer service skills, professionalism and friendly demeanor has made him very successful in sales and management. Having spent over 23 years in the consumer electronics and appliance industry as a leader in system design or custom home installations, Paul has made it a very easy transition over the last 5 years in our products and service industry. As our assistant sales manager he takes pride in his work and rapport he builds with our clientele and staff. Paul values community involvement, coaching ice hockey and is an avid golfer and pool player. He also loves the great outdoors and camping in his spare time with his family.

Ryan works on our Project Deliveries. Ryan’s knowledge of job site safety is key in his role.  In Ryan’s spare time he is dedicated to baseball. With over 15 years playing ball, Ryan is thrilled to turn his attention to coaching. Outside of work, Ryan spends the rest of his free time with family and friends.

Shane is coming into the flooring industry with over 10 years’ experience in construction, specializing in concrete installation. With a passion for hard work Shane has decided that he wants to take on new challenges and step into a high demanding role as Warehouse Assistant. In his spare time Shane enjoys spending time with his friends and actively playing sports.

What do you do at Nufloors?

Responsible for the daily, monthly and yearly financial reporting along with HR responsibilities.

What do you do in your spare time?

My passion is Interior Design and Decorating, but I love to craft, read, travel and spend time with family & friends.

Are you from the lower mainland?

I grew up in Winnipeg, Manitoba but moved to the lower mainland 33 years ago, with all of our family in tow (we were all tired of the winters).   I have also lived in Corpus Christi, Texas and Las Vegas Nevada, but now I am back in Canada living in the lower mainland.

What do you do at Nufloors?

I work with Homeowners and Contractors who are selecting flooring for their renovations or new builds, providing pricing and quotations and coordinating their installations.   I also run my own interior design business called ‘InDesign Group’ where I specify all interior and exterior finishes for renovations and new construction and provide room styling once the project is complete.

What do you do in your spare time?

I love to spend time with my family and friends, like to stay active and fit, enjoy entertaining, anything interior design and home projects.

Are you from the lower mainland?

I was born in Toronto and moved to Armstrong when I was seven.  Attended school from grade 2 until graduation and then moved to Vernon, then Kamloops, then on to Vancouver, finally settling in Cloverdale where I have lived for 29 years.

Telsa’s many years in the Customer Service Industry and understanding of home installations has allowed her to become an integral part of our Nufloors team. While working in our Customer Care and Warranty department Telsa is also assisting with Project Administration.

When not working hard to keep all customers happy with their Nufloors new or previously installed floors she enjoys warm vacations abroad, outdoor activities or time spent with her family and friends.

Tina oversees the administration and general organization of the business as well as providing support to her husband and co-owner, Nick. Together Tina and Nick provide Nufloors Langley with leadership and guidance, but Tina is the one who makes sure the company runs smoothly day-to-day and all the little details don’t get overlooked. She resides her in Langley with Nick, just minutes away from the store.
